Down at 320, Merku Boardinpet Street in Sholinghur, that is where we set up our office. It is a modest place, nothing like those big banks you see in the city. We have a couple of wooden tables and some steel cupboards where we keep all the records for the chit funds. Sholinghur is a place where people know each other, so we often end up chatting about the weather or the local news when someone comes in. We don't have a fancy website or a digital portal for everything. Most of the work is done with paper and ink. It gets dusty sometimes because the street is busy, so we are always wiping down the desks. The light in the office is a bit dim in the corners, but we have enough lamps for the workstations. We stay open pretty late some days if the paperwork piles up. Running a business like this requires a lot of patience and a good eye for detail. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. It’s just a normal, everyday office where we work hard and try to stay organized without any fuss. Usually, the morning is the best time here before the sun gets too high and things heat up.
