Roman Stores

Roman Stores is located in Athimanjeripet, over in the Pallipattu area. We’ve been a fixture in this neighborhood for quite some time now. It’s a general kind of store, so we carry a bit of everything that people might need day-to-day. It isn’t a massive supermarket with endless aisles. Instead, it’s a more compact space where we try to fit in the essentials. When you walk in, you might see bags of rice near some hardware tools or household items. We try to keep things organized, but when we get a big shipment in, the aisles can get a little narrow for a day or two. The people who work here are mostly family or neighbors who have been with us for years. We know most of our customers by name, and we know what they usually come in for. If someone is short a few rupees, we usually just tell them to bring it next time. It’s that kind of place. We don't do any big marketing or have a loyalty card program. Our way of doing things is just to be here when the doors open and help whoever walks in. It’s a simple life in Athimanjeripet, and Roman Stores is just a small part of it. We like the pace here. It’s steady, and we get to talk to our friends all day while we work. We don't need things to be any more complicated than that.
