Our place is in Arcot, which is part of the Vellore district. We are situated in K.K Nagar at door number 3/367. It is a standard office where we manage our chit fund groups. The weather in Vellore can get quite hot, so we usually have the fans going full blast all day. We have a small team here that looks after the collections and the auctions. It is not a very big office, just enough space for us to work and for a few customers to sit. We don't have any big marketing budgets or anything like that. We mostly rely on people in the neighborhood knowing who we are. We've been in Arcot for a bit and we like the pace of things here. Our work involves a lot of counting and double-checking the ledgers to make sure everything adds up. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide a reliable place for people to save their money. Sometimes we have a lot of people coming in at once and it gets a bit loud, but that is just how it goes in a small town business. We keep our records on the computer but we still like having the paper copies just in case anything happens. It’s a simple, honest way to run a chit fund and we plan to keep it that way for the foreseeable future. We just do our best every single day.
