Kh Leather Industries

Our workshop is located at No. 18 on the Krishnagiri Bye Pass Road. It’s a convenient spot because we are right on the main route, though it does get quite dusty with all the trucks passing by all day and night. The building is a simple structure made for work, not for showing off. Inside Kh Leather Industries, you will find piles of hides and various pieces of equipment spread across the floor. We spend our days mostly sorting through the leather and preparing it for the next stage. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and the air usually smells like tanned skins and oil. We have a small desk near the front door where we keep the logs and take calls, but most of the action happens in the back. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we go when we need a break from the noise. It’s a straightforward business and we don’t have much use for fancy office furniture. We focus on the leather and making sure the piles are moving out on schedule. The bypass road keeps us connected to the other towns, which makes shipping things out a bit easier than if we were stuck in the middle of a crowded city center.
