Out here in Ranipet, the sun really hits the industrial complex hard. Gnutti Carlo India Pvt Ltd is located at A25 in the Engineering SEZ of the Sipcot Industrial Complex, Phase III. It’s a large area, and we are right in the middle of all the manufacturing action. The shop floor is where most of the life happens. It’s noisy with the sound of machines and the movement of materials. We focus on engineering components, and it’s precision work that requires a lot of attention. The environment is very industrial. You won’t find any carpets or soft lighting here. We have shifts running, and there is a steady rhythm to the day. The canteen is usually the place where everyone catches up during breaks. Ranipet is known for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the rest of the factories around us. The commute can be long for some of the guys, but the work keeps us busy. We don’t spend much time on fancy presentations. Most of our time goes into making sure the machines are calibrated and the output is what it should be. It’s practical, hard work, and we’ve been doing it for a while now in this same spot.
