Shah Auto Mobile

Shah Auto Mobile is located in Mohalla Lakshmeshwar, right on Ranikhet Road and very close to the gas godown. If you are driving through this part of town, you will see our shop with various parts and vehicles parked out front. It is a greasy place, as you would expect from an auto shop, with tools scattered across the benches and the smell of oil and petrol always hanging in the air. We spend our days under hoods or looking at engines, trying to figure out what that clicking noise is or why a truck won't start. The Ranikhet Road is always busy with people heading up towards the hills, so we get a fair amount of walk-in traffic and travelers who have broken down. We don't have a fancy waiting room with a television; usually, people just stand around and chat with us while we work. The neighborhood is fairly tight-knit, so we know most of the people who live nearby in the Mohalla. Sometimes we stay late when a difficult job comes in, working under the shop lights until the job is finished. It is a noisy, messy business but we like working with our hands and seeing something actually get fixed. The gas godown next door is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time.
