Merigold Cottage

If you are looking for us, we are right next to the Majkhali Army Helipad. You can’t miss it because the helicopters come and go sometimes and the sound carries across the hills. Merigold Cottage is basically a quiet place tucked away in the Majkhali area. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy and making sure everything is working like it should. The weather out here changes fast. One minute it is sunny and you can see the peaks, and the next it is all misty. We have a few rooms and a bit of garden space that needs constant weeding. Living and working right by an army helipad is a bit different, but you get used to it pretty fast. The air is definitely cleaner up here than down in the plains. We don't have a big staff or anything, just a few of us making sure the guests have what they need, like extra blankets or tea in the morning. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow because of the location, but that's just life in the mountains. We like it here because it is peaceful most of the time. The building itself has been around for a while and has that old stone feel to it. It’s a simple life, mostly involving firewood, cooking, and watching the clouds move over the valley.
