Divya Traders

Divya Traders is a small business operating out of Distt Almora. Being up here in the hills changes the way we do things compared to shops in the big cities. We deal with general trading, mostly items that people in the local villages and the town area need for their daily lives. The pace is a bit slower here, which we don't mind. We don't have a fancy storefront with glass windows; it's more of a practical space where we store our goods. Getting supplies delivered up the winding roads can sometimes be a challenge, especially when the weather is bad or there are landslides. We just have to work around it. Most of the people who come to us are neighbors or folks we've known for years. We aren't looking to grow into some huge corporation; we just want to provide what the community needs. Our office is simple, with just the basic stuff we need to track our sales and inventory. We write things down, talk to our customers, and try to keep things fair. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if we aren't all related. We’ve been in Almora for a long time and plan to stay. It’s a beautiful place to work, even if the logistics get a bit tricky sometimes. We just do our best with what we have and keep our doors open for whoever needs to trade.
