Our place is at 41 P.N. Malia Road in Raniganj. Urbanac Colors is the name on the door. We deal with paints and pigments every single day. It's a colorful place, quite literally. There are buckets and tins stacked everywhere you look. The floor has spills from years of work, but we don't mind the mess. It's a workshop more than a proper office. We spend the day mixing shades and checking batches to see if they match. Raniganj is an industrial kind of area, so we fit right in with the other shops. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room for guests. If you come by, you'll probably find us in the back with our sleeves rolled up. It’s messy work. We use a lot of water for cleaning the big mixers. My hands are usually stained with some kind of blue or red by the end of the day. We aren't a giant corporation even though we have a formal name. We’re a private limited company, but it feels more like a local shop. We supply to contractors and some local builders who know where to find us on the road. P.N. Malia Road is always noisy with heavy trucks going by. We’ve been in this building for several years now. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we moved the stock away. We just focus on colors.
