Viswajit Castings & Engineering Works

We operate out of Plot No. P8/8 in the Nacharma Industrial Area. It’s a large plot, but most of it is filled with heavy machinery and raw materials. In the casting and engineering business, you spend a lot of time around heat and heavy things. The air is often thick with the smell of the foundry. We’ve been here for a good number of years now, and the building has seen better days, but it still serves us well. We’ve got a small crew of workers who know exactly what needs to be done. It’s hard, physical labor and by the time the evening rolls around, everyone is pretty worn out. We don’t have an air-conditioned office to sit in; we’re mostly out there on the floor where the action is. The Nacharma area is full of other workshops like ours, so there’s always a lot of trucks and noise around. We handle a variety of engineering jobs, some big and some small. It’s not a glamorous job, and your hands are almost always dirty with soot or oil. We just keep the furnaces running and the orders moving along. Sometimes we have to fix the machines when they break down, which can take up the whole day. It’s just how it goes in this line of work. We’re just a regular industrial shop doing our daily tasks. There isn't much more to it than that, really. We just keep working away.
