Srikar Engineers

Srikar Engineers is tucked away in Dammaiguda, specifically at 35/B in Phase-2 of the SSA Colony. It’s more of a workshop than a proper office. If you come by, you’ll hear the sound of metal hitting metal or machines humming in the background. We do a lot of engineering work, which basically means we fix things or make parts that people need for their equipment. There’s always oil on the floor and our clothes are usually stained with grease by ten in the morning. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you show up, you just have to shout over the noise to get someone’s attention. Most of the guys here have been working with their hands for a long time. We don't use big words to explain what we do; we just show you the part and tell you if it can be fixed or if you need a new one. Dammaiguda is a growing area, so there’s a lot of construction around us, adding to the general chaos of the day. Sometimes we run out of a specific type of bolt or screw and have to wait for the delivery, which slows things down. But we keep at it. It’s honest work and it keeps the community’s machines running. We aren't fancy, just practical people who know how to use a wrench.
