Our little shop sits at Plot No.322 on Chevella Road in the Bandlaguda area. The Kali Mandir is just a short walk away, which makes it easy for people to find us. This road stays fairly busy with people traveling towards the main city or coming back home. We keep a variety of kiranam items that most households need on a daily basis. You’ll find different types of cooking oils, bags of sugar, tea dust, and various lentils here. It’s a small space, so we have to stack things quite high. Sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to reach the top shelves when someone asks for a specific brand of soap or a packet of biscuits. We don't have any fancy displays. It's all very practical and basic. The mornings are usually the busiest when everyone is trying to get things for their breakfast or lunch boxes. You can hear the prayers from the temple nearby sometimes. We see the same faces every day, and we’ve gotten to know the preferences of our regulars. The shop doesn't have a big staff, just us family members taking turns behind the counter. Bandlaguda is a place where people still like to come and chat for a minute while they wait for their items to be packed. It’s a humble setup, but it serves our purpose and helps the local community get their supplies without having to travel too far.
