Saratha Kirana Store

Saratha Kirana Store is located at 26/142 on Damaiguda Road in the Nagaram area. It is a busy road, so there is always the sound of scooters and cars passing by. We have a small space here, but we make sure it is filled with all the essentials. You will find stacks of biscuits, jars of candy for the kids, and bags of flour and pulses along the walls. We don't have a lot of room for fancy decorations, so we just focus on keeping the shelves stocked with what people ask for. The lighting inside is just a few tube lights, and it can be a bit dim in the corners, but we know where everything is. Running a shop in Nagaram means seeing a lot of the same faces every day. We talk to the neighbors about the weather or the local news while we pack up their groceries in paper or plastic bags. It is a very hands-on job. We have to carry the heavy crates ourselves and make sure nothing goes to waste or gets spoiled. The Damaiguda Road gets quite congested in the mornings, which is when we are the busiest. We just keep our heads down and serve whoever comes to the counter. There’s no corporate talk here; it’s just a regular local shop where we try to be as helpful as we can to the folks living nearby. It’s a modest living, but it keeps us busy and connected to the neighborhood every single day.
