Novotel Hyderabad Airport Hotel

This place, the Novotel Hyderabad Airport Hotel, is situated right by the RGIA in Shamshabad. Since we are so close to the airport, we see a lot of people coming and going at all hours of the day and night. It is a big building and easy to spot when you are driving toward the terminal area. Being in the 500083 area of Hyderabad makes us a convenient stop for travelers who have just landed or are catching an early flight the next day. The staff here mostly lives nearby in Shamshabad or other parts of the city. We spend our shifts making sure the rooms are ready and the lobby looks decent. It can get pretty hectic when a big flight arrives and everyone wants to check in at once. We have plenty of space, though. The hallways are long and we spend a lot of time walking back and forth. Sometimes the planes flying overhead are quite loud, but you get used to it after a few days of working here. It’s a busy spot, no doubt about that. We don't really have a lot of quiet moments, especially during the peak travel seasons. Most of what we do is just managing the day-to-day needs of people staying over. It’s a job that keeps us on our feet. We see folks from all over the world passing through these doors, which is always interesting to see.
