Ganesh Cement Products

Ganesh Cement Products is located right on Vijaywada Road in the village of Kothakude. We have a fairly large open space because cement products take up a lot of room while they are drying. If you drive past, you’ll see the pipes and rings lined up near the road. It’s a very dusty spot. The heavy traffic on the road never seems to stop, and it kicks up a lot of dirt into our workspace. We don't have a fancy showroom. Everything is just out there in the yard. I run this with a few local workers. We spend most of our time mixing the cement and filling the molds. It’s heavy, messy work, and the sun can be quite brutal in the afternoons. We don’t have a fancy office or a computer. We just use a notebook to keep track of who owes what and what needs to be delivered. Most of our customers are farmers from Kothakude or builders working on projects nearby. They know us and they know where to find us. We don’t do any promotional stuff. We just make the products, and if they are good, people come back. It’s a very basic way of doing things. We’re just regular people trying to run a business on the side of a busy road. It’s not much, but it’s our living.
