Our business is located in Shankar Palli, covering shops 4 through 18. It is a decent space for this part of the R.R. District, even if a lot of it is just taken up by storage and the cooling units. We have been operating here for a good while, so most of the locals know the spot. It isn't some big, polished corporate office; it is just a regular shop where we do our work. The mornings start pretty quiet. We usually spend that time checking the inventory and making sure the freezers didn't have any issues overnight. Dealing with the dust is a constant battle because Shankar Palli can get quite windy. We are always wiping down the counters and cleaning the glass lids to keep things looking okay. It can be repetitive, but that is just how it goes. We get all kinds of people stopping by, from workers looking for a break to families out with their kids. We don't do any fancy marketing or have a big mission statement. People just see the sign and walk in. Most of the time, we are just waiting for that afternoon heat to bring people through the door. It is a straightforward way to make a living. We focus on the daily chores, like sweeping the entryway and talking to the regulars who live nearby. It is just how things are done here in our corner of the district.
