Bachpan A Play School Nandiyal

Our school, Bachpan A Play School Nandiyal, is tucked away in Chevella, Rangareddy. The postal code is 501503. It’s a bit of a drive for some, but for the locals, we are right where they need us. We have a decent-sized space here. It’s nothing over the top, just some classrooms with bright walls and plenty of floor mats. We find that the kids prefer sitting on the floor anyway. The yard has a bit of grass and a few things for them to climb on. We spend a lot of time just supervising and making sure nobody bumps their head. Our staff are mostly moms from the area who wanted to work with children. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. I usually spend half my time fixing a broken toy or talking to a parent at the gate. The kids come from all sorts of backgrounds. We teach them the alphabet and how to sit still for more than five minutes, which is harder than it sounds. By the time 1:00 PM rolls around, the place is usually a bit of a mess with bags and shoes everywhere. We just tidy up and get ready to do it all again the next morning. It’s a steady rhythm we have going on here in Chevella. It’s honest work and keeps us on our toes all day long. We just focus on being a normal school.
