Cheliya Garment Division

Cheliya Garment Division is located at No. 5/1 on Ranganathapuram 3rd Street. We are just off Kongumain Road, which stays pretty busy throughout the day. Our street is a little narrower, so sometimes delivery trucks have a bit of a hard time backing in, but we make it work somehow. We spend our hours here working on different garment orders. There are sewing machines lined up and people are usually focused on their work. It’s a bit of a noisy place with all the clicking and whirring of the equipment, but we are used to it. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to that yet because there is always cloth to be cut. We have some long tables for laying out the patterns and stacks of finished goods waiting to be packed up in the corner. It’s not a corporate office; it’s more of a workshop where things actually get made by hand. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit and know the other shop owners on the street. Sometimes we sit outside for a break when the sun isn't too hot. It’s just a regular local business doing what we know how to do. We don't have any fancy brochures. People just come in, tell us what they need, and we see if we can get it done for them by the end of the week. We keep things simple and keep our heads down.
