This cloud kitchen, Yaams And Mom, is based out of Villa No. 84 at Richmond Villas in the Bandlaguda Suncity area. It’s a quiet residential spot mostly, which makes it a bit different from the usual busy market areas. We started this because we liked the idea of working from a kitchen that feels more like home. There are no tables for people to sit at, just us working on orders as they come in. The kitchen gets hot in the afternoons, especially when all the stoves are going at once. We spend a lot of time talking to delivery drivers who pull up to the gate. Richmond Villas is a nice place, very green and mostly calm compared to the rest of Hyderabad. We handle everything ourselves, from the cleaning to the actual cooking and the packaging. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three orders hit at the exact same time. We just take it one step at a time. It’s a small team, mostly family and a couple of helpers. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We just hope the food speaks for itself when it reaches someone’s house. The Bandlaguda area has changed a lot lately, with more people moving in. We’ve had to learn how to manage the supplies so we don't run out of ingredients halfway through the night. It’s a lot of physical labor and standing on our feet, but we like it.
