VAJRASRI CHIT FUND PRIVATE LIMITED operates out of a small space at 11-33/1/2/49. It’s a bit of a long address to write down, but once you find the building, it’s easy. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, it's just one of us sitting there near the door. The office is tucked into a corner of the neighborhood, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads. We spend our mornings checking the collections and making sure the entries are correct in the books. It's a lot of sitting, so we try to get up and walk around when we can. The walls are painted a simple cream color, and we have a few old wooden cabinets for the files. Sometimes we have to hunt for a specific paper, but we eventually find it. People drop in throughout the day, mostly just to say hello or drop off their monthly amounts. We keep a pot of water in the corner for anyone who is thirsty. It’s a basic setup, but it’s what we need to get the job done. We’ve been here for a while and don’t plan on moving. The neighbors are nice and we all look out for each other. It’s not a complicated business. We just make sure everyone gets what they are owed and keep the records clear. Sometimes the printer acts up, but we fix it eventually. We just like keeping things simple and honest.
