Balanagar is a busy area, but our corner is manageable. We mostly do welding jobs that people bring in from the neighborhood. Our shop at 4-36-358 is not huge, but it has enough room for our tools and the sparks to fly. It gets hot inside, especially during the summer months in Telangana. We have been here a good while now. Most days are spent cutting metal or fixing broken gates. It is honest work and keeps us busy from morning until evening. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. You just walk up and talk to whoever is holding the torch. Sometimes we have a backlog, so things might take a day or two longer than expected. We try to be fair with everyone. The temple nearby is a good landmark if you get lost finding the street. It is just how things go here in Balanagar. We know the regulars and they know us. Nothing fancy, just metal and heat. We keep the machines oiled and the masks ready. It is a noisy place but we enjoy the work we do here.
