Sattvik Batters (Opc) Private Limited

You can find us at Plot No 4 in Prudential Bank Colony, Phase 2. We are in the Subash Nagar area of Thirumalagerry. Sattvik Batters (Opc) Private Limited is our small business where we make idli and dosa batter. It’s a lot of work involving rice and lentils. We spend most of our time cleaning the grains and running the grinders. The machines are quite loud, and the floor is almost always a bit damp from all the water we use. We aren't some big factory with robots. It’s just us lifting heavy bags and making sure the batter is the right consistency. We start very early in the morning so the shops can have the batter before they open. Sometimes the grinders break down and we have to spend the afternoon trying to fix them ourselves. It’s not a glamorous job. We wear rubber boots and simple clothes because things get messy. We don’t have a marketing team or fancy labels. We just put the batter in plain bags and send it out. People in Thirumalagerry seem to like what we do, which is nice. We aren't trying to be famous or anything. We just want to provide a decent product that helps people make breakfast a little easier. It’s just a small group of us working hard in a quiet colony. We take it one day at a time here.
