Sastra Imports And Exports (Opc) Private Limited is run out of a flat in Kokapet. Specifically, it’s F No.C503 on the 5th floor of Block C in The Lawnz, which is part of the Power Welfare Society. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty calm compared to the industrial zones. Being an OPC means it’s a one-person company, so I’m the one doing all the heavy lifting. I manage the import and export deals from my desk here. It’s a lot of coordination with overseas suppliers and local buyers. Kokapet has been growing like crazy lately, and it’s a good spot to be in. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy office suite. It’s just me, a laptop, and a phone that never stops ringing. I deal with various goods, making sure they get through customs and reach the right destination. It's a lot of responsibility for one person, and I’ve had my fair share of long nights. I didn't want to work in a corporate cubicle anymore, so I set this up. There are no polished brochures or marketing teams here. It’s just hard work and trying to keep everything organized. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, but that’s about the only complaint I have. I just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone is satisfied with the trade. It is a simple life but it keeps me busy.
