Salasar Food Products

Salasar Food Products is located at Plot No 44 on Road No 9 in the Apiic Kattedan area of Rajendranagar. If you ever drive through Kattedan, you know it’s a hub for all sorts of manufacturing. We focus on food products here, so the workspace has to be kept a certain way. It’s usually smelling like whatever we are processing that day, which is better than some of the other factories nearby. The building on Road No 9 is pretty basic, but it houses everything from the processing units to the packing area. We spend a lot of time making sure everything is running smoothly on the floor. It can get pretty busy when a large order comes in, and we all have to pitch in to get things boxed up. We don’t have a big corporate office or a team of secretaries. It’s mostly just the people who do the actual work. Rajendranagar is a good spot for us because it’s easy to get the goods out to the main roads. Sometimes the machines break down or a delivery truck is late, and we just deal with it as it happens. We’ve been part of the Apiic estate for several years now and we know most of our neighbors. It’s a community of makers and doers. We just try to keep our heads down and make sure the food products leave here in good shape for the local shops.
