Rajani Waffers (C/O Balaji Poly Pet)

We are located out in Mailardevpally Village at Plot No 200. The address is a bit of a mouthful, Door No 8-13-8/25/1, but once you are in the Rajendranagar Mandal area, it isn’t too hard to find us. We are part of the Balaji Poly Pet setup here. The main thing we do is make wafers. It’s a noisy place with the machines running, but that is the sound of work being done. We start early in the morning to get the batches ready. The smells from the kitchen area usually drift out into the street. It’s a local operation, and many of the people working here live nearby in the district. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Mostly, it’s just the production floor and some space for storage. We pack everything up right here and get it ready to go out. The floors are usually a bit salty by the end of the shift, but we clean it all up every night. It’s honest work, and we enjoy seeing the bags stacked up at the end of the day. If you ever come by, you’ll see the trucks loading up to head out to the local shops. The rain sometimes makes the road out to Mailardevpally a bit muddy, but the trucks still manage to get through. It’s a lot of work to keep a wafer business running.
