Out here in Gopanpally, things are a bit quieter than the main city. Our place is at House Number 1-54/11. It’s a simple building, nothing you’d notice if you were just driving past quickly. We handle a lot of Nepalese food items. It’s a lot of spices and specific grains that we have to keep track of. The kitchen is usually where everyone hangs out because that's where the heat is. We don't have a big corporate office or a floor of managers. It's just a few of us doing the cooking and the packing. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but we still show up and do what needs doing. We started Mmjnepalesefood because we knew the flavors well. It’s not about being the most famous spot in Hyderabad. We just want to make the food right and get it to the people who want it. The 500046 area is growing, so there’s more noise lately than there used to be. We’ve got bags of rice and jars of spices stacked up in the corner. It gets a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in. We just move things around until it all fits inside. It’s a practical way of living. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just work and try to stay busy every single week.
