Kumari Tent House

We set up Kumari Tent House here in Tulasi Nagar to help folks out with their functions. If you walk down the Iind Phase in Allwyn Colony, you will find us at 4-32-1026/99. It’s not a big shop with glass windows, just a place where we keep all our poles, cloths, and chairs stacked up. Kukatpally is always busy with some wedding or a small puja happening, so we are usually on our feet. My brother and I handle most of the heavy lifting. Sometimes the weather gets bad and we have to run out to secure the tents so they don't fly away. It is honest work. We don't use any fancy apps to manage things, just a big notebook where we write down who needs what and for which date. Most of our neighbors know us by name now. When the festival season comes, we barely get any sleep because everyone wants their pandal ready by morning. We have some old trucks that make a lot of noise, but they get the job done. Sometimes we run out of white chair covers and have to wash them quickly for the next day. It’s just the way things go in this business. We don’t have a website or anything, just this spot in the colony where people can find us when they have a celebration planned.
