We’re located out at Sy No.3 in the Kokapet area, near Gandipet. Kshetra Organic Meat And Vegetables Private Limited is based right here in this part of Hyderabad. It’s a bit of an open area compared to the city center, which makes sense for what we do. We handle fresh produce and meat, so we need the space and the right environment. The office is really just a small part of the whole operation. Most of the action happens where we store and sort the food. It gets cold in the storage areas, so we’re always wearing jackets even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals written on the walls. We just have lists of what needs to be delivered and what’s coming in from the farms. The 500075 area is growing fast, but we still feel like a local operation. Sometimes the trucks get delayed because of the roads, and we have to scramble to stay on schedule. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially in the mornings. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the stuff we handle is decent. Our desks are usually covered in invoices and coffee cups. It’s a messy, busy, real place where people actually work for a living. We just keep our heads down.
