About Om Sai Teja Dished End Works – Packaging Machines & Materials in Ranga Reddy
We are located over in Ida Jeedimetla, specifically at Plot No 76 in the Svcie area. Our work involves a lot of heavy metal and big hydraulic presses. Dished ends are what we focus on, which means we spend our time shaping thick steel plates into curved shapes for tanks and vessels. It is a very noisy environment with the sound of metal hitting metal and the roar of the furnaces. We wear heavy gloves and boots because everything is either hot or heavy. The ground is often covered in small metal shavings and dust from the grinding process. Jeedimetla is a massive industrial hub, so there is always a lot of smoke and dust in the air from all the neighboring factories. We move the heavy pieces using overhead cranes, which takes a lot of focus to do safely. Sometimes the steel we get has imperfections, and we have to work around those or start over. It is physically demanding work that leaves you tired by the end of the shift. We have a small area where we keep the drawings and measurements, but most of the action happens out on the shop floor. It isn't a clean job, and our clothes usually end up stained with grease and oil. We’ve been at this plot for a while and have become a regular part of the industrial landscape here.
