We are located at VRR Complex on the first floor. The building is right on Sagar Road in the Lingojiguda area, which falls under Saroornagar Mandal. The house number is 10-1-80/8/A. It’s a pretty busy road, so there’s always something going on outside. GOMITHRA CHIT FUND PRIVATE LIMITED is run by a few of us who have lived in this part of Rangareddi for a long time. The office is not very big, but we have enough space for the cupboards and desks we need. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in from the street or the nearby residential blocks. They come to put money into their chit funds or ask about the next cycle. We keep things very basic. There’s no fancy software or high-tech gadgets, just good old-fashioned record-keeping and a lot of calculators. We try to be helpful and answer questions as they come. Sometimes it gets a little loud because of the traffic on Sagar Road, but we are used to it by now. We open the shutters in the morning and stay until the work is finished for the day. It’s a steady kind of life. We don’t make a big fuss about what we do. We just make sure the accounts are handled properly and everyone knows their status. It’s practical work for practical people.
