Classic Hatcheries Pvt. Ltd. is based over at Sy. No. 456/E in Kundukur. We are right in the Ranga Reddy District, which has changed a lot lately, but our corner stays pretty consistent. Working at a hatchery means we are up before the sun most days. There is a lot of checking on the eggs and making sure the temperatures in the rooms stay exactly where they are supposed to be. It is a lot of waiting and then a lot of activity all at once when the chicks start coming. The building itself is set up for one purpose, so it isn't very pretty to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of incubators and people moving around quietly so we don't disturb anything. Kundukur is a good spot for this because we are close enough to the main roads but still have enough space to breathe. We don't really use big words or try to act like we are something we aren't. We just hatch chicks. That is what we have been doing, and it’s what we know. The work is repetitive and you have to be very careful with the details, otherwise, things go wrong pretty quickly. We just come in, do the checks, handle the birds, and go home. It’s a living, and it keeps us tied to the local land and the cycle of the seasons out here in the district.
