We set up shop out here in Kesaram Village a while back. It’s a bit of a drive to Chevella Mandal, but being at Survey No 118/2 gives us the space we need for all the timber. Mostly, we deal with wood in its raw form before it becomes something useful. You can smell the sawdust from the road most mornings. It’s a noisy place with the saws running, but that is how we spend our days. We have a small crew that knows how to handle the heavy lifting. It isn't the kind of place where you’ll find glossy brochures. We prefer to show people the actual wood stacks. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather isn't helping, but we keep at it. People from around the area know where we are if they need supplies for a building project. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the orders right and make sure the wood is seasoned properly. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a belt or sharpening blades. That’s just part of the job. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in dusty clothes loading up a truck. We don't mind the hard work. It feels good to see a load of wood headed out to a construction site knowing it's solid stuff. It is simple, steady work.
