We operate out of Sri Nagar Colony in Kuntloor. The specific spot is 7-100/8/1. It is a bit of a distance from the main city center of Hyderabad, which makes it a little quieter out here. Bhuvika Handlooms and Handicrafts is a producer company, which sounds official, but it really just means we work with a lot of different people who make things by hand. The workspace is usually filled with a mix of things, from woven fabrics to various small handmade items. It can get pretty cluttered when a new shipment arrives from the clusters. We have some large tables where we sort through everything to make sure it looks okay before it goes anywhere else. The staff here is mostly local people from around the colony. We don't have a big fancy entrance. You just walk in and see people working at their desks or packing boxes on the floor. The walls have a few samples pinned up, but mostly it is just functional. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the different designs coming in. Since we are in Kuntloor, we don't get as many random walk-ins as a shop in the middle of town would, so we focus more on the logistics and getting things organized. It is honest work and keeps us busy from morning until late evening most days.
