Amrutha Rock Drills

Over at Plot No-13 in Bn Reddy Nagar, you’ll find our workshop for Amrutha Rock Drills. We are located in the Cherlaplly area, which falls under the Ghatkesar district. We deal with heavy drilling equipment and tools meant for breaking through stone and earth. It’s greasy, heavy work most days. We have a lot of metal parts lying around and the sound of grinding is pretty constant. We aren't a big corporation, just a local spot where we put these drills together and fix them up. People who work in construction or mining usually know where to find us. The yard is often cluttered with old parts and new shipments. We don't have a polished showroom; you just walk into the shop and talk to whoever is free. We focus on making sure the threads are right and the metal is strong enough to handle the pressure. It’s a noisy neighborhood with other shops doing similar things, so we fit right in. We just keep doing what we know, which is building and maintaining rock drills. It’s a straightforward trade and we’ve been at this spot for quite a while. No frills, just hard work and heavy machinery. Sometimes we spend all day just cleaning out one piece of gear, but that is the life. We get the job done and prepare for the next order.
