You can find us at 14/35/2 in Lothkunta, right in the Alwal area. Being in the wood business means there is always sawdust on the floor and the smell of cut timber in the air. We have been here for a good while, and the workshop is pretty much filled with planks and old tools. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you are not from this side of town, but it is a good spot for what we do. The sheds are big and have high ceilings to keep the air moving, though it still gets hot during the afternoon. We usually have a couple of guys working the saws and others moving the heavy wood pieces around. It is hard work on the back, and we all feel it by the end of the long day. There is no showroom with bright lights here. It is just a working yard where things get made and loaded onto the lorries that pull up to the gate. Sometimes the neighbor's dogs come wandering in looking for shade under the stacks of lumber. We try to keep things tidy, but with wood, that is almost impossible to do for very long. The gates stay open most of the day so the air can circulate through the yard. We drink a lot of water and stay busy with whatever orders came in that week. It is a straightforward way to earn a living, and we just like the quiet routine of it.
