Van Milieu Care Foundation

If you are looking for us, we are located at Shakuntleya Niwas on Road Number 10 in Vikash Nagar. The place is actually the residence of Anil Kumar Singh, and we run Van Milieu Care Foundation from here in the Hatia area. It’s a quiet residential street for the most part, which makes for a peaceful working environment when things aren't too hectic. We don't have a big sign out front or a fancy office complex. We just use a few rooms to manage our care initiatives and environmental projects. It feels more like a home than a workplace, which actually suits the kind of work we do. There are usually tea cups on the table and stacks of papers related to our latest outreach efforts. Hatia is a busy part of town, but our little corner in Vikash Nagar stays relatively calm. We spend our days coordinating with volunteers and trying to figure out how to make the best use of our limited resources. It’s a hands-on job and we don't mind getting our hands dirty. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we have a real stake in what happens in this community. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big words to describe what we do. We just want to provide some care and look after the environment from our small base here at Road 10. It is a simple life and simple work for us.
