Utsahit Jeevan Foundation

Utsahit Jeevan Foundation is tucked away inside the SPG Mission Compound. We share the space with Deepak Kumar Gupta, who helps us keep things running smoothly. It’s a quiet area, which is nice when we have a lot of thinking to do. The compound has a bit of history to it, and we like the atmosphere here. Our setup is very basic. We have a couple of desks, some shelves for our records, and that is about it. We don't see the point in having a flashy office when we are just starting out and trying to be helpful. Most of our work involves a lot of talking and planning on the fly. We don't really have a set routine, we just show up and see what needs the most attention that day. Sometimes people stop by just to say hello or ask what we are up to. We try to keep the door open when we are in. It isn't a corporate environment at all. It feels more like a community project where everyone chips in. We don't have a big budget for advertising, so we mostly rely on people finding us here in the compound. It’s a simple life, and we are fine with that. As long as we have a roof over our heads and a place to sit, we can get our work done.
