Sashis Creation

Upper Bazar is always a mess of people and noise, but that’s where Sashis Creation is. We’ve been in this part of town for a long time. The shop is small and it’s packed with stuff from floor to ceiling. Sometimes I don't even know where we put everything. We focus on making things that people actually want to wear. It’s not about being fancy or anything like that. We just sit here and work on our designs. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do. The tea man comes by twice a day and that’s usually when we take a break. Otherwise, it’s just the sound of scissors and machines. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, honestly, but we never seem to find the time to stop working long enough to do it. We have a lot of old customers who just walk in and sit down to talk for a bit before they even look at what’s new. It’s that kind of place. We don't have a website or anything like that. If people want to see what we've made, they just have to come to Upper Bazar and find us. It’s busy and loud outside, but in here we just try to keep our heads down and get the stitching right. It’s a simple business but it keeps us going day after day. We aren't trying to be anything we're not.
