You can find Tulsyan Distributors over on Baralal Street, specifically in Adukia Lane in the Upper Bazar area. If you’ve been to Upper Bazar, you know how tight the lanes are. It’s a struggle just to get a handcart through sometimes. We’ve been here for a good bit, dealing with distribution. The warehouse is basically just a large room packed to the ceiling with boxes. We know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone walking in from the street. Our day starts early, unloading trucks before the traffic gets too bad. It’s physically demanding work, moving crates and checking invoices. We don't have any air conditioning, just a few old fans that click while they spin. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. Most of our neighbors are also in trade, so we all know each other. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People know us because we’ve been on this lane for years. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the deliveries go out on time. It’s a simple life. We have our regulars, we have our tea breaks, and we just keep the business moving. It’s just us doing what we know how to do in a busy market. No point in making things more complicated than they need to be.
