Technician

I work as a technician and stay in the quarters at Dhurwa, Ranchi. My address is Qr No-Dt-439. It is a government-style housing area, and many of us here do similar types of technical work. I have a small space set up where I handle my daily tasks. It’s not an office in a commercial building, just a room in my living quarters where I keep my equipment. Ranchi can be quite cold in the winters and very hot in the summers, so I just adjust my work hours based on the weather. Most of the people I work with live nearby in the same colony. We see each other every day at the local markets. I’ve been doing this job for several years now, and it’s mostly about routine and keeping things running. There aren’t many surprises. I don’t have a website or anything like that, people just know my quarter number if they need to find me. Sometimes the power goes out, and I have to wait it out like everyone else. It’s a basic life in Jharkhand. I focus on my tools and the specific technical problems I’m asked to solve. It’s just me doing my bit in this part of town. I don’t see the need for a bigger space since I can do everything I need from this quarter. The neighbors don't mind the occasional noise of my testing equipment.
