Cart Sarai Road is always moving. We are right there in Upper Bazar. Most people find us because we are near the Ram Mandir. It's a landmark everyone knows. The shop itself isn't huge. We have shelves full of different medicines. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road traffic. We open the shutters early in the morning. People stop by on their way to work or after seeing a doctor nearby. We spend a lot of time checking batches and expiry dates. It's just what you do in a medical store. Sometimes we have to tell people to wait a bit if we're looking for something specific in the back. The neighborhood has changed over the years, but we've stayed in this same spot. There are other shops around us, mostly selling clothes or hardware. We know the other shopkeepers. We talk about the weather or how busy the market is today. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that. Just a counter and some fans. People come in with their prescriptions, and we do our work. We see a lot of the same faces every month. It’s a routine. Life in Ranchi is like that, things move at their own pace. We just keep the lights on and help the folks who walk through the door. It’s a simple business and we try to keep things organized despite the crowd.
