Sterling Motor Co.

We operate out of Q.No.-B/2016 in Sector-2, Side-4 over in Dhurwa. It's a bit of a residential area here in Ranchi, but that’s where Sterling Motor Co. has its base. It is a busy little spot for us. Most of the time, the air smells like oil and metal because we are always working on motors and mechanical parts. We aren't a big showroom with shiny floors; it is more like a workshop where we actually get our hands into the machines. People from around the neighborhood know us and stop by when they have issues with their equipment or motors. It’s a small team, and we spend most of the daylight hours fixing things or checking inventory. We have tools scattered around and parts waiting to be cleaned or installed. It can be quite a bit of work to keep everything organized in this space, but we manage somehow. Ranchi has its own rhythm, and we are just part of the local scene here in Dhurwa. We don't really do any big advertising. Most of our work comes from people who just know where we are and what we do. It is simple, hard work, and that is how we like it. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot and keep going until the light fades in the evening. It's an honest way to make a living for all of us here.
