Shyam Store

We have been here at Singh More in Hatia for quite some time now. It is a busy spot in Ranchi, and the store sits right where everyone passes by on their way home. We mostly keep things people need every day, like pulses, rice, soaps, and snacks for the kids. The morning starts early here because people want their milk and bread before heading to work. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded, and there is a lot of noise from the traffic outside, but we manage. My family helps out behind the counter when things get busy in the evening. It is not a very big place, just a regular shop where we know most of the faces that come through the door. We try to keep the shelves full so nobody has to go far to find basic stuff. Sometimes we run out of a specific brand, but people are usually okay with whatever else we have in stock. We even keep some cold drinks in a small fridge near the front for the summer months. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we sweep it a few times a day. Dealing with the distributors is always a bit of a headache, especially when the trucks arrive late. It’s just regular work, nothing fancy. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. We hope to see you around.
