Shyam Store

Shyam Store is another one of those local spots in Chutia, Ranchi. We are tucked away in the residential part of the area. It is a small shop where we deal in daily grocery items. You can find things like eggs, bread, milk, and various types of grains. We have been part of this community for quite a while now. The store is managed by a few of us, and we know exactly where every single item is kept, even if it looks a bit disorganized to someone else. Chutia can be a bit dusty and the roads are narrow, but it has a real neighborhood feel. We spend our days refilling the jars and making sure the vegetables we keep are fresh. It’s a quiet existence for the most part. We don't do any marketing or special offers. People come to us because we are close to their homes and we treat everyone fairly. Sometimes when it rains, the shop gets a bit damp, but we just keep going. It is a practical business for practical people. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just a weighing scale and some notebooks to keep track of things. We are just glad to be here every day without fail. It is a small way of serving the people around us in Ranchi. We hope to keep doing this for as many years as we can because it is what we know. The shop might be quiet but it is always busy enough to keep us busy.
