Shashimukesh Education Foundation

We are based out of Ranchi, specifically over in the Bandh Gari area of Bariatu. Mukesh Kumar Singh is the one who looks after the place. It's a pretty quiet spot for the most part. The focus here is mostly on learning and helping kids or adults with their studies. Education is important, so we try to provide a space for that. Being in Jharkhand, we see a lot of people who just need a bit of a push to get their schooling sorted. The foundation isn't some big school with hundreds of staff. It's more like a small group of us trying to help out where we can. You can find us at the 834009 pin code area. We get people coming in from Lohardaga and other nearby places too. Sometimes the roof leaks or the power goes out, but we keep the books open anyway. We don't have a big marketing budget. Most people find out about Shashimukesh because they live nearby or heard a neighbor talking about it. It’s just a regular building where we keep our stuff and meet people. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs help with a book or a lesson, they come find Mukesh. We've been here for a bit now and the local community knows the address. It’s just about getting the work done without making a big fuss about it. We don't have fancy furniture, just some old tables and chairs that work well enough for everyone.
