Shanti Stores

Shanti Stores is located in Sukhdeonagar, right on Ratu Road in Ranchi. We are very close to the Hanuman Mandir, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. You can usually hear the bells from the temple during the day. Our shop has been around for a long time. It’s a simple place with wooden counters and shelves filled with household goods. We have everything from rice and dal to small toys for the kids. The road outside is always busy with rickshaws and cars. It gets a bit loud, but that’s Ranchi for you. We don't have a computer for billing, we just use a notebook and a pen. It’s how we’ve always done it. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to talk for a bit while they buy their groceries. We have some regular customers who have been coming here since they were children. Now they bring their own kids. The shop gets a bit dark in the corners, but we know where everything is. It isn't a modern store with air conditioning. We just have a ceiling fan that wobbles a little. It’s a honest place for honest people. We try to keep the prices fair and the stock fresh. Most days we are here from dawn until the temple closes for the night.
