Senior Site Engineer

I am based out of 1404 ‘A’ Ward here in Shivaji Peth, Kolhapur. It’s a busy part of town and there’s always something happening right outside the door. If you know this area, you know how the traffic can get during the afternoons when everyone is out and about. Being a Senior Site Engineer means I spend most of my time looking at plans or out on various construction spots around the city, but this is where the paperwork gets handled. The office isn't anything fancy. It's just a practical space where we keep our files and drawings. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the wind coming through, but that's just part of working in this industry. My desk is usually covered in site reports and there's always a cup of tea somewhere that's gone cold because I got distracted by a phone call. We've been in Shivaji Peth for a while now and the locals know us well enough. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot because once midday hits, it’s hard to stay focused on a building site. I try to keep things organized but with so many different projects moving at once, it feels like a constant juggle. People stop by to ask questions or just to see how things are progressing on a particular job. It’s a regular routine of checking levels, talking to workers, and making sure the supplies showed up on time.
