Santosh Store

Santosh Store is situated over in Hinoo, right along the Airport Road in Ranchi. It’s a part of town that has changed quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here doing our thing. The 834002 area is where we live and work every day. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of traffic picking up as people head toward the airport. We get the shop ready, wipe down the glass, and check what we need to restock. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting crates and moving things around to make room. Ranchi can get quite rainy during the monsoon, and we have to watch the door to make sure the water doesn't come in. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the fanciest place around. We just provide what we can to the folks in Hinoo. Most people have their own ways of saying things and we just talk like everyone else around here. We have some people who have been coming here for years. They stop to chat for a few minutes while they get their stuff. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. Most people find us just by walking past on Airport Road. It feels good to be a familiar face in the neighborhood. By the time we close up in the evening, the street lights are on and things finally start to quiet down a little bit. It’s a honest day's work and we’re glad to be here.
