Sania Travels

Our spot is over at Bawa Towers, specifically on the first floor. It’s on Church Road in Ranchi. A lot of people know where the Gurudwara is, and we are right opposite that. It’s a good landmark to have. The building itself has been around for a while, and being on the first floor means we get a bit of a view of the street below. Church Road is always full of life, with people walking by and cars tucked into every possible parking space. Sania Travels is basically just a few of us working out of this space. We don’t have any fancy mission statements posted on the walls. Mostly, the walls just have a few old calendars and some notes scribbled near the phone. It gets a bit dusty because of the road work outside, but we try to keep it tidy enough. It’s a small office, nothing too grand. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of travel, which means a lot of waiting on hold and typing out details. Sometimes the lift in the building is temperamental, so taking the stairs is usually faster. We’ve grown used to the sounds of the neighborhood, the bells from the Gurudwara, and the general clamor of the city. It’s just our regular workplace. We show up, do the work, and go home like anyone else. It’s a practical setup that serves us well enough for what we do every day.
