Samaj Kalyan Vikash Foundation

The Samaj Kalyan Vikash Foundation is located in Jerwadih. We work out of Lalmohan Singh’s place. It’s a very simple setup in a rural part of the area. We don't have a fancy office building or a sign with lights on it. Most of the people who live around Jerwadih know who we are and where to find us. We spend our time working on social welfare projects. This means we are often out in the fields or visiting people in their homes to see how things are going. We don't have a lot of equipment, just the basics like pens, paper, and a couple of old mobile phones to keep in touch. The work is mostly about listening to people and trying to help them navigate various challenges. We handle a lot of administrative stuff in the evenings after the sun goes down. It’s a lot of work for a small group, but we don't mind. We aren't doing this for fame or to sound like a big company. We are just local people who want to see our community do a bit better. Sometimes we run out of supplies or have to wait for things to arrive from the city, but we just keep moving. It’s a slow and steady kind of life here. We just do what we can with what we have and keep our focus on the people of this village. It’s just us, doing the work the way we always have. We hope to stay here for many years to come. That's really all there is to it.
